Past quote requestors and real estate professionals can review an originator after confirming their email. A closed loan, paid subscription or Talk Shop referral is not required.

Know who is speaking

We distinguish quote requests matched to an SLR account, quote experiences outside SLR, and real estate professional feedback. A matched quote request does not prove a loan closed or verify every statement. Email confirmation does not establish a professional license or working relationship. Unchecked relationships are labeled as reported by the reviewer.

Every rating follows the same process

Submissions are checked for firsthand experience, relevance, privacy and disclosed relationships before publication. We do not select reviews based on positive sentiment. Professionals cannot edit, select or suppress their reviewers’ ratings. Fake reviews, spam, threats, unrelated content and private client information are not published. Business, referral, personal and incentivized connections must be disclosed. No reward is offered for a review.

Recent means recent

Profiles show the latest five approved reviews submitted within the previous 12 months, newest first. Each review shows the reported month of the underlying experience and the reviewer’s relationship. The same time window applies to favorable and unfavorable reviews. Outside review platforms remain separate links to their full histories; their ratings are not combined into an SLR score.

Credentials are evidence of a specific achievement

Profiles can link to credential issuers and review platforms. We check links and descriptions before publication. A professional designation is separate from a state license and does not guarantee a rate, loan approval, service quality or investment outcome.

Corrections and concerns

Return to the professional’s “Leave a review” page and sign in with the email you used to submit. You can withdraw your review from public display and edit it for a new submission. A correction goes through the same checks again. Withdrawal preserves a private record for moderation and authenticity checks. We record moderation decisions and their reasons. Disagreement with a negative opinion alone is not a reason to remove it.
